About
My name is Sarah Richard
I'm a French independent registered midwife trained in the UK. I am passionate about all aspects of pregnancy from pre conception care all the way through postnatal care. I created Partum Birth to offer the best evidence based care tailored to different families' needs may they be physiological, emotional cultural or else.
Services
I offer at home consultations throughout your pregnancy and after your baby is born.
I also offer gender testing which is an at home blood test.

Birth preparation consists of an individual antenatal class where we can create your birth preferences together.

Story

Partum Birth was created to offer evidence based care tailored to every families' needs.
I have always wanted to become a midwife. My sister can confirm that as she is left traumatised being forced to watch every documentary about pregnancy, labour and birth with me from a young age. I moved to the UK in 2012 and worked in different posts to become fluent in English. I studied midwifery in the University of West London where I was lucky to train in a UNICEF accredited University hospital enabling be to gain extra knowledge about infant feeding support.
My experience as an NHS midwife has enriched my practice as I have been able to support families from all different life journeys.
In my private practice, I intend to provide holistic care supporting health, prevention and alternative therapies as a first line of action if action is at all needed. I want to inform and give the right tools needed for you to feel prepared and ready to live this life changing experience.
